I recommend people who don't like this "no plot/text, hundreds of images that are mostly minor variations of each other, potentially some pngs with transparency that'll look like jpeg artifacts when Pururins image reader tries to display them" format to just blacklist the game CG category.
I'm personally not a huge fan though I might consider uploading a few if they appeal enough to my fetishes, but Shirou has convinced me enough of the value they might hold for people who played the source game and just want a refresher/nostalgia to mostly just treat them as filler, something I can throw in to please a very small minority I don't really care for that much and get to the daily 19 approvals.
They won't stop being uploaded, Shirou seems to be set on uploading a lot of them in near future and after that it'll be rare again. I'll keep the approvals of it throttled down to 0-1, on occasion 2, approvals per day like I do with most really niche stuff.

I got a bunch as well, even just cases where only resolution was upgraded because when people go through entire an entire tag (generally artist/circle or character, though I've recently done it for Mermaid / 人魚 because it was small enough to do that, the recent boom of sailor moon content is another result of this, narrowing down to a tag search with less than 200 results is just the easiest way to find old stuff that hasn't been uploaded with the replacements being a by-product) to fill in all the gaps they're bound to notice a few cases where an existing gallery can be swapped out for higher resolution or decensor.
This is actually so common for the old Puru Uploads that we have to restrain ourselves and only pick a few to replace per batch to avoid flooding the pending list with too much re-uploads
