It could go both ways, for example, maybe a girl gets raped by a man, but somewhere towards the middle a variety of situations could happen, such as the girl is a succubus or just has an insatiable sexual appetite, so she ends up turning the tables on the man and it becomes reverse rape instead.

The same could also be said where a girl is having dominance in the situation in the first half, but towards the end the male ends up turning the tables on her and takes control.
