I haven't looked at the other things he's done.
I looked through the work once and saw nothing serious. The reviews were also OK and no one complained about the translation in the comments. And if there were problems, they're always the first to come running.
edit: as I just saw again, when someone uploads it in the wrong resolution, one of the first comments is always "You used resample images instead of original full resolution images".
That's why I'm surprised that there was nothing to read in this case. Otherwise they seem to come on the scene quite quickly.

no the artist didn't decide Jojo had to be in there, the "translator" did, and it can't even be tagged as a Rewrite per EH rules because the uploader gave a pinky promise that he was really trying to translate it instead of making shit up and inserting meme images is a "honest mistake". Fine if scanlators deface the content for shits and giggles as bonus pages but they should leave those edits to extra pages at the end instead of trying to pass it off as a real translation.
